Pumbaa

Hello 2011!  Shall I make a resolution to blog weekly?  Yes, I am putting this in writing, that I will blog weekly.  In exchange, I'm asking my friends to share my link with a friends if they see something they like, something that makes them smile, or something that touches their heart...and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping make my photography dream a reality.

I have a little gig set up with the boys of the Portland Dog Wash.  (thanks to my friend Steve W who came up with the idea...and pushed me to follow through with it...)...anyways...here's the gig.  When you wash your dog at the Portland Dog Wash you can fill out a form for a chance to win a free portrait session for your pet!  I will choose a photo from the session and have a great big one of your pet "Artiplaq"ed where it will then hang on the walls of the Portland Dog Wash for all to see.  Here are photos of the first dog I photographed, this is November's winner...his name is Pumbaa.  What a gorgeous dog!...and so very well behaved too!  Both Pumbaa and his proud owner Helen were a delight to meet and photograph.  I'm so excited to share these with you, and cannot wait to pick up the final portrait and deliver it to the Portland Dog Wash to share with everyone.  This is a monthly contest, where a new name is picked each month, so don't forget to fill out a form for a chance to win, on your next dog wash!
