Wow...two posts in one week? Crazy times right now...I have enough work to post everyday...if I had time too!
Last night I had the opportunity to photograph the silent auction sponsored by and for the Animal Refuge League. I must admit...this was a pretty classy event...and unfortunately for me...I was feeling just a touch under the weather...and not up to my usual ferocious eating habits. I did hear someone say take a picture of all these desserts, so we can enjoy them later.
...so that I did...
I do not have any information yet on how much money was raised for the Animal Refuge League, but I do believe it was a sizable amount. I've put together a little slide show to share with you...click on the photo below.

I put together a slideshow for Katie, of our little summer get-a-way to Point Sebago, but I'm sharing it today with you.

2nd Annual Soccer Night in Westbrook
Here's a recap of the weekend.
A personal milestone for yours truly.
I spent 18 hours at the Westbrook High fields, between Friday night and Saturday.
Games were being played on 4 different fields simultaneously.
I can only wish I was wearing a pedometer.
I came home Saturday night, QUICKLY reviewed my work, and proceeded to upload over 1600 images of the days events.
Enjoy!

I LoveLoveLove this dog. Bentley is a two year old Weimaraner who loves to have fun. If I ever come back to this earth in another life form...then I wish to come back as a two year old Weimaraner. Bentley was my July portrait winner from the monthly drawing I do at the Dog Wash Etc. You can enter for your chance to win a free portrait session by washing your dog at the Dog Wash Etc!

A Wedding...Adam and Stacey
Over the past month I've posted twice about Adam and Stacey (Something to smile about and Adam & Stacey Engagement Session at Portland Headlight) but it all comes together now, with "A Wedding" post. I met Stacey just a few months ago (and her baby Schoop), when her sister Melissa referred her to me. Stacey just wanted photography coverage for a few hours of her outdoor Wiscasset wedding...and lucky for both of us I was available! I really do love photographing weddings! Thank you Stacey and Adam for allowing me to capture your special day. Everything was beautiful and fun!... and thank you Melissa for introducing us!
I've enclosed a few photos below, and a slide show of the wedding.

Adopt A Friend
Every Monday morning, for over a year now, I start my week off by photographing the new available cats for adoption at the Animal Refuge League. Some weeks there are 10 new cats...some weeks there are 30 new cats...either way...these are new cats to the center. Some are young and some are old. Some are hissy and some are sweet. Some want to play and some want to sleep....(some are black...some are white...)
A couple of weeks ago the ARL gave away cats. That's right, they waved the adoption fee...and gave them away for adoption. Want to take a guess at how many cats went home?
You'll never guess it...unless you drive by there everyday...because the sign in the parking lot had a great big thank you...and the number 161 on it. Yup...crazy huh? One hundred and sixty-one cats found their forever home in just one week! That is a huge number...but...believe it or not...there are still some very special cats waiting for someone to take them home...and many of them are very sweet. Here are some of the faces I photographed yesterday...but be careful...you may just fall in love!
