At the beginning of 2011 I made a commitment to myself to post to this photo journal at least once a week. This commitment was personal, a way to keep my procrastination at bay...sort of speak. Luckily, I always have new photos to share, and by making this commitment, I would also be keeping my customers happy...it's so much more fun to share photos when they occur. As my friends and family know, 2011...although still a relatively new year, has brought much sadness for us. In January we lost our "Damma", (Mom, Mom-In-Law, Grandmother, Godmother, and friend)
Last week, we lost our "Dampa" (Dad, Dad-in-Law, Grandfather, Godfather, and friend). This loss is huge for my family. It is the end of an era. We have said goodbye to Mom and Dad and now prepare to say goodbye to their home too.
My next post will be to honor my Dampa...but following the advice of a friend, I will not rush it...I need to do it right...please stay with me...as I take a little time off...
