Moose Sighting. A Maine Photographer

I'm a pretty lucky girl.  Usually if you spy some unusual wildlife, in an unusual place, you do not get the opportunity to return and still spy it...let alone take a photo or two...However...that's where my luck comes in.
This morning I was doing a power walk with a friend.  We always walk early in the morning a couple of times a week.  We usually walk the track at the High School, but since the fall sports have started back up the track is pretty busy...so we've changed up the routine a bit.  This morning, we walked over to our Middle School, and we spotted a moose in the cow fields nearby.  The moose spied us also and wandered over to the edge of the field to check us out too.  I thought, what are the chances that I might return home to fetch my camera and return back and still be able to photograph this beautiful creature?
Slim...that's what I thought.  So I returned home...had a big bowl of cereal...poured myself a coffee...then grabbed my camera and headed back.  My luck was good.  She was still there...and amazingly...no other paparazzi was anywhere to be found.

Just me and my moose:)

Melinda and Chris. A Maine Wedding. Maine Wedding Photographer

You can't see me right now...but I'm grinning from ear to ear...as I always do when I blog about a recent wedding I photographed.  I'm such a romantic sap...I really can't help myself.

So, I promise not to go on and on about how much I LOVE being part of a couples special day.
I promise!

So, without going on and on...here are some of my favorites!  As usual, I've put them together for you in a slide show.  It's quick...just three minutes...but it tells a love story the best way I know how.

A special thank you to Melinda and Christopher, the beautiful couple I had the honor and privilege to photograph on their very special day!
Click on the photo below to see the slide show...but since I still haven't perfected the art of posting for all handheld devices...if you can't see a photo, then please click on the link after the big white space where the photo is...(that you may or may not be able to see)

Here's their engagement blog post...Melinda & Chris
